An air handler is comprised of an evaporator coil and a blower, which circulates cooled or heated air throughout your home. The Goodman ARUF series air handlers are easy to install, and what’s more, they provide years of quiet and dependable operation.
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) sets the heating ventilation and air conditioning industry's standards for performance and efficiency. When you use the Goodman ARUF air handlers, you are getting ARI-certified performance, as well as quality, reliability, and comfort.

This air handler also includes a supplemental heating element up to 15KW for increased heating capacity. (When purchased as part of an optional electric heat system)
The Goodman air handler is versatile and can be installed as an upflow (ductwork above the air handler), downflow (ductwork under the air handler), and horizontally (air handler in an attic, crawlspace, or basement). If you are capable, you can do most of the installation yourself and then set up a service call for a professional to come and open the refrigeration system and check the charge.
Any qualified air conditioning technician can easily install this system in your home or office. It will normally require about 5-8 hours to replace an existing, similar type system.
