All units come fully charged and tested - direct from the factory. And, the higher efficiency 13 SEER unit meets the higher standard set by the EPA's Energy Star Program.
Reliability and Long Life
One of the most critical components is the heat exchanger. The patented, aluminized-steel tubular heat exchangers provide incredible durability and heating capacity.
Goodman 13 SEER Packaged Gas/Electric Unit Utilizes:
What does all this mean to you?
High Efficiency Scroll Compressor
The brand new 13 SEER packaged unit also boasts a high-performance, high efficiency scroll compressor (2 ton units feature a high-quality reciprocating compressor) that operates in tandem with the high efficiency coil. The coil is constructed of refrigeration-grade copper tubing and aluminum fins in a design that maximizes surface area and heat transfer.
And if that's not enough!
Goodman goes one step further and installs a liquid-line filter drier in every package unit they build. This filter drier prevents moisture and debris from entering the compressor and expansion device, helping to preserve the life of the system. Many manufacturers leave this important step out, but Goodman has always installed filter driers in their products because they can add many years to the life of a unit.
Easy to Install
