Versatile Usage And Installation
This Coleman air conditioning and mobile home furnace system (uses either propane or natural gas) includes an indoor furnace and cooling coil together in one cabinet along with the outdoor condenser and is referred to as a "split system". This means that you will have system that is "split" into two units - indoor and outdoor.
If you are replacing a "package" type unit (all components contained within a single outdoor unit with no indoor section) with this "split" system you will need some minor duct modifications to accommodate the placement of the new indoor blower unit (the indoor section). If you are replacing an existing split system no duct modifications should be required.
Be sure to check the physical dimensions of your selected indoor unit here to ensure that it will properly fit within the space allotted.

Under the terms of all manufacturer's warranty and to comply with federal refrigerant handling laws, it is required that the system be checked, started up and signed-off on by a licensed air conditioning/heating contractor prior to use. Failure to comply with this provision will void all factory warranties. Keep a copy of the installation ticket for your records. Please ensure that all supply and return ductwork is properly sized and that a permit is obtained (where required). Always conform with applicable local and state codes. Electrical connections should only be made by a licensed electrical contractor. Unqualified persons should never attempt installation of this or any HVAC system.
