The Coleman 95% Efficient Gas Furnace
We created a separate and distinct category for mobile home equipment because of the unique demands placed on cooling and heating systems used in these applications. The primary difference between a mobile home furnace and a furnace designed for a site-built home is the way the furnace is ducted, vented, and installed. The ducting in a mobile home is smaller and therefore more restrictive, so the furnace blower must be designed to overcome the greater resistance to airflow. This ensures proper air delivery from each supply register. Standard furnaces will not provide the rated air delivery in a mobile home application. Your new mobile home furnace also uses a venting design known as “sealed combustion” which safely draws combustion air from outside to minimize noise and drafts. Standard furnaces from almost all other manufacturers are not designed or rated for use in mobile homes and can be unsafe if an attempt is made to use them improperly. All furnaces and equipment in this category are design-specific for use in mobile and manufactured homes. Product Description:
The units are factory shipped for installation in upflow applications and may be converted for downflow applications. These furnaces are designed for residential mobile home, manufactured, or modular home installation. All units are factory assembled, wired and tested to assure safe dependable and economical installation and operation. These units are Category IV direct vent, sealed combustion listed and may be vented either through side wall or roof applications using approved plastic combustion air and vent piping. Sealed-combustion safely draws combustion air from outside to minimize noise and drafts while increasing operating efficiency. Qualifies For A 30% Tax Credit The Federal Energy Star tax credit provides for tax credits of 30% of your total system and installation costs, up to $1500.00 on this highly efficient Coleman furnace. The 95% efficiency rating is among the highest available and qualifies this furnace for the highest credit offered. This credit is subtracted from your total tax due, so it goes right into your pocketbook, courtesy of the government. This Coleman mobile home furnace AFUE rating of 95% means 95 cents of each $1.00 of heating energy expense warms your home. Some older furnaces rate at only 60% AFUE, meaning only 60 cents of the fuel burned contributes to your home's heating. The remaining 40 cents is lost energy--wasteful and expensive. Best of all, the Coleman 95% efficient furnace can lower your energy consumption by up to 50% when compared to an older, inefficient furnace. FEATURES
Air Conditioning ready The Coleman MG9S series gas furnaces are air conditioning ready and can serve as the indoor blower section for up to 5 tons of cooling.
