Versatile Usage And Installation
This system is compatible with the following furnace brands, depending on age: Coleman, Evcon, Vexar, Red T, Mortex, Nordyne, Intertherm, and Miller brands. If you are adding this system to an existing furnace, simply use the measurements provided for the indoor coil and measure the coil cavity within your indoor unit to be sure it will fit properly.
Also, make sure the blower capacity of the existing furnace is suitable for use with the air conditioning system you select. For example, most existing furnaces can handle up to 3-3.5 tons of cooling without modification. You will need a furnace blower capable of producing approximately 230 CFM (cubic feet per minute) of airflow for each ton of cooling you select.
This means a minimum blower capacity of around 1000 CFM for 2-3.5 tons of cooling. Anything above 3.5 tons may require a larger blower to replace your existing blower. (This would need to be checked and installed by a local contractor if so). This rating should be listed on the existing furnace’s nomenclature plate. Be sure to check the physical dimensions of your selected cooling coil to ensure that it will properly fit within your existing furnace.
Affordable and Efficient Performance
The Environmentally-Friendly R-410a Refrigerant provides additional peace of mind because your new system won't harm the environment and meets the standards set by the federal government.
The cost of service will potentially be reduced in the future as older refrigerants (R-22) are gradually phased out through federally legislated production limitations.
Don’t let the affordable price fool you – Coleman is a leader in mobile home heating and cooling systems.
In fact, the Coleman mobile home furnace and air conditioning system is the preferred choice for many consumers when it comes time to select air conditioning for mobile home applications.
The new Coleman systems offer affordable, reliable, and quiet operation you can count on year after year. Air conditioning for your mobile home is as easy as AC4Life.
Save Hundreds On Your Annual Energy Costs
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. SEER gives an indication of the energy efficiency of the system.
The higher the SEER, the more efficient the unit. And, the more efficient the unit, the lower your energy costs. When you purchase a new mobile home system, you'll use less energy to cool your house, resulting in lower electric bills.
In many cases, these savings are enough to partially or fully offset the cost of the new equipment within a few years.
The Coleman mobile home air conditioning system, with a seer rating of 13, can lower your energy costs by 50% or more when compared to a standard 15 year old system.
