Top Rated Quality - 7 Years Running
If rugged dependability is high on your list, the Ruud 14AJM Air Conditioner simply can't be beat. Since 2003 the leading consumer group has given Ruud the highest rating available for dependability and customer satisfaction. And that hasn't changed for 2011. The same consumer group has once again rated the Ruud brand the most reliable you can buy. Period. We believe that the Ruud line of quality air conditioners is the best and most dependable you can buy. We base that on years of experience with these air conditioners and feedback from our customers. They may be a few hundred dollars more than some of the ordinary brands but we think they're worth every penny of the additional cost. Compare the Ruud features and rugged construction to any ordinary air conditioning system and you'll see a visible difference that doesn't require an expert eye. Quite simply, the build quality is apparent the moment you remove the box. The Environmentally-Friendly R-410a Refrigerant provides additional peace of mind because your new system won't harm the environment and meets the standards set by the federal government. The cost of service will potentially be reduced in the future as older refrigerants (R-22) are gradually phased out through federally legislated production limitations. Industry Leading Quality
The tough, protective cabinet features electro-statically applied paint that is then baked for long lasting good looks and protection. Yard debris and severe weather are no match for this solid, durable cabinet, featuring a steel reinforced top for maximum strength. The 14AJM series also feature a special sound-reducing package consisting of a PSC, 4 blade, 8-pole fan motor and discharge line muffler. The result? Quiet and smooth operation so you and your neighbors can rest easy. Ruud uses only a heavy gauge copper and aluminum fin coil construction for maximum heat transfer and efficiency. This coil is designed to resist the elements and remain leak free year after year. Ruud installs protective high and low pressure controls to prevent damage to the compressor from pressure extremes. Why settle for less than the absolute highest measure of protection for your new system? This Ruud condenser is designed for ground level or rooftop mounting and is pre-charged with R-410a refrigerant. * The manufacturer requires that the system be started up and checked by a licensed ac contractor prior to use to validate system warranty and comply with EPA refrigerant handling laws. SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. SEER gives an indication of the energy efficiency of the system. The higher the SEER, the more efficient the unit.
