Electric furnace description
The RHSL series centrally ducted Rheem electric furnace is the economical answer to superior heating performance. For quiet performance and greater comfort this electric furnace simply out-performs the competition.
When matched with an outdoor cooling unit, these full function electric furnace/air handlers provide both heating and cooling as needed.
This electric furnace is comprised of a blower, which circulates heated air throughout your home, and the heating element that you select. A cooling coil is also built-in, ready when you need it. If you don't intend to ever add cooling, we suggest the Goodman electric furnace . It has no cooling coil, so you are not paying for something you will never use.
The Rheem electric furnaces are uncomplicated, easy to install, and what's more, they provide years of quiet and dependable operation. The largest models provide up to 68,000 Btu's of comfort enhancing heat through your existing duct system.
Top Rated Quality - 7 Years Running
If rugged dependability is high on your list, the Rheem electric furnaces simply can't be beat. Since 2003 the leading consumer group has given Rheem the highest rating available for dependability and customer satisfaction. And that hasn't changed for 2011. The same consumer group has once again rated the Rheem brand the most reliable you can buy. Period
We believe that the Rheem line of quality electric furnaces are the best and most dependable you can buy. We base that on years of experience with these furnaces and feedback from our customers.
They may be a few hundred dollars more than some of the ordinary brands but we think they're worth every penny of the additional cost.
Compare the Ruud features and rugged construction to any ordinary furnace and you'll see a visible difference that doesn't require an expert eye. Quite simply, the build quality is apparent the moment you remove the box.
Efficient And Quiet Performance
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) sets the heating ventilation and air conditioning industry's standards for performance and efficiency. When you use the RHSL series Rheem Electric Furnace, you are getting ARI-certified performance, as well as quality, reliability, and comfort.
This air handler also includes a supplemental heating element up to 20KW for increased heating capacity.
Flexible installation Design
The Rheem electric furnace is versatile and can be installed as an upflow (ductwork above the furnace), downflow (ductwork under the furnace), and horizontally (installed in an attic, crawlspace, or basement). If you are capable, you can do most of the installation yourself and then set up a service call for a professional to finalize the electric connection.
