The Mitusishi Mid Static intelli-AIR ducted indoor units are designed to keep your home or business comfortable all year round. Whether you have a small house or a larger space like an office, daycare, shop, or restaurant, these hoirzontal ducted indoor unit offer the right size and power to meet your needs.
They work by moving air through hidden ducts to heat or cool multiple rooms at once—perfect for open areas or spaces with long duct runs. The PEAD-AA18NL can be installed out of sight in the attic, ceiling, or under the floor, and they run so quietly you’ll barely notice they’re there.
As a smart, energy-saving heat pump, the Mid Static intelli-AIR system adjusts its power to use only the energy needed to maintain your ideal indoor temperature—helping you stay comfortable while saving on energy bills.

Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
- Hire a licensed HVAC technician in your area
- Use platforms like Angi, Thumbtack, or a local HVAC directory to find reliable professionals
- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
