A compact 2-ton indoor coil designed to support dependable comfort and proper refrigerant control.
The Intertherm C85DAMX24U-B is a 2-ton, 24,000 BTU uncased indoor evaporator coil designed for compatible manufactured and modular home HVAC systems. Installed with an approved outdoor air conditioner or heat pump and furnace, the coil transfers heat between the refrigerant and indoor air to help cool or heat the home.
For homeowners familiar with the former Revolv product line, Intertherm now carries that manufactured-home HVAC tradition forward. This vertical A-coil uses micro-channel technology and includes a factory-installed thermal expansion valve, commonly called a TXV, to regulate refrigerant flow as operating conditions change.
- 2-ton capacity: Supports properly matched systems with approximately 24,000 BTUs of nominal capacity.
- R454B compatibility: Designed for current R454B air-conditioning and heat-pump systems.
- Micro-channel coil: Provides efficient heat transfer through a compact indoor coil design.
- Factory-installed TXV: Precisely controls refrigerant flow to support consistent system performance and efficiency.
- Vertical A-coil configuration: Designed for installation with compatible manufactured-home furnace and indoor equipment arrangements.
- Uncased construction: Fits inside an approved furnace or coil cabinet rather than adding a separate exterior cabinet.

The C85DAMX24U-B is a practical indoor-coil choice when building or replacing a properly matched 2-ton Intertherm system. A qualified HVAC professional must verify the outdoor unit, furnace, A2L safety components, airflow, and certified equipment match before installation.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.

- Use platforms like Angi, Thumbtack, or a local HVAC directory to find reliable professionals
- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing

Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
