The Intertherm HSH4ME5M1SP48K is a 4-ton, 48,000 BTU split-system heat pump engineered for compatible manufactured and modular home HVAC installations. It provides substantial cooling capacity during hot weather while also operating as an efficient heating system when temperatures fall.
For homeowners familiar with equipment formerly sold under the Revolv name, Intertherm now carries that factory-built home HVAC tradition forward. This model offers 14.3 SEER2 cooling efficiency and 7.5 HSPF2 heating efficiency. Its scroll compressor helps support reliable, quieter operation, while Guardian Seal and durable cabinet construction protect the outdoor equipment from weather-related wear.
The HSH4ME5M1SP48K provides a durable all-season solution for manufactured or modular homes that require 4-ton capacity. Professional load calculation, approved indoor-equipment matching, and qualified installation are necessary to achieve the expected comfort and efficiency.
The Intertherm E7ED Series Electric Furnace provides dependable heating for compatible manufactured and mobile homes with downflow duct systems. In a downflow installation, heated air moves from the furnace into ductwork located beneath the unit, making this configuration a practical replacement choice for many factory-built homes.
Available in heating capacities from 10 to 23 kW, the E7ED family makes it easier to match the furnace to the home’s heating requirements. Its compact cabinet supports installation in common manufactured-home utility spaces, while front service access helps qualified HVAC professionals perform routine inspection and maintenance.
The Intertherm E7ED Series was formerly sold under the Revolv brand. Choose the appropriate model based on the required heating capacity, electrical service and compatible cooling equipment, and have the system sized and installed by a qualified HVAC professional.
The Intertherm C85DAMX48U-B is a 4-ton, 48,000 BTU uncased indoor evaporator coil developed for compatible manufactured and modular home air-conditioning systems. This model is intended for cooling-only applications and works with an approved outdoor air conditioner and compatible indoor furnace.
For homeowners familiar with the former Revolv equipment line, Intertherm now carries that manufactured-home HVAC tradition forward. Its micro-channel A-coil design efficiently transfers indoor heat to the R454B refrigerant, while the factory-installed TXV regulates refrigerant flow to support consistent cooling performance.
The C85DAMX48U-B provides the indoor heat-transfer component needed for an approved 4-ton Intertherm cooling system. Because this model is designed for air-conditioning applications, a qualified HVAC professional should verify the outdoor condenser, furnace, airflow, and certified coil match before purchase.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
