A compact 5 kW electric heater adds dependable heating without requiring combustible fuel.
The Intertherm W3P0502 is a 5 kW electric heater kit designed for compatible P7R, Q7R, P95, and Q95 packaged HVAC units. It adds electric resistance heating to an approved packaged air conditioner or provides supplemental and emergency heat when installed in a compatible packaged heat pump.
Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, designed this 240-volt, single-phase heater kit to operate through the packaged unit's blower and controls. This model does not include circuit breakers, so the required electrical protection must be provided by the matched equipment or installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical codes.
- 5 kW electric heat: Provides supplemental warmth for properly matched packaged systems.
- Compatible packaged-unit accessory: Designed for approved P7R, Q7R, P95, and Q95 equipment.
- Supplemental heating: Helps a compatible heat pump meet additional heating demand.

Choose the W3P0502 when manufacturer documentation confirms that the packaged unit requires 5 kW of electric heat without included breakers. A qualified HVAC professional must verify equipment compatibility, wiring, circuit protection, airflow, and available electrical capacity.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?

- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing

Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
