The Intertherm W3P0802 is an 8 kW electric heater kit for compatible P7R, Q7R, P95, and Q95 packaged units. It can add heating capability to an approved packaged air conditioner or assist a compatible packaged heat pump when outdoor conditions increase the home's heating demand.
Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, engineers this 240-volt, single-phase heater kit to integrate with the packaged system's blower and controls. Because the W3P0802 does not include circuit breakers, a professional must confirm and provide the required overcurrent protection for the exact equipment and installation.
