What is covered
All equipment sold by AC Direct comes with its original factory warranty from the manufacturer. That warranty covers parts in your system. If a covered component fails during the warranty period, the manufacturer provides the replacement part under the terms of its warranty. Labor to diagnose and install the part is never covered by the manufacturer warranty and is handled separately by your contractor.
How to get a warranty part
Start with a local licensed contractor. The contractor diagnoses the failure, identifies the specific part, and files the claim through the manufacturer warranty or an authorized parts distributor for your brand. This is the standard process for Goodman, MRCOOL, ACiQ, Mitsubishi, Daikin, and other brands. The manufacturer, not the retailer, supplies the covered part.
What AC Direct can help with
AC Direct sells and ships HVAC equipment. We do not install, service, or repair systems, and we do not stock, supply, or replace warranty parts. If a covered part fails, our support team can point you to the manufacturer warranty process and confirm the details of the equipment you purchased so your contractor can file the claim correctly.
Why the service invoice matters
Manufacturers usually ask for proof that a qualified professional inspected the system and identified the part that failed. A clear service invoice keeps the warranty claim accurate and helps the manufacturer or distributor send the right part the first time, which avoids return trips and delays.
