When using a mini split sizing calculator for rooms below a conditioned space, apply an additional .7 factor to your final Btu outcome.
For example, if your Btu requirement via this calculator is 18,000 Btu's: 18,000 Btu's x .7 factor = 12,600 Btu's required. When in doubt, it is okay to go up a size or two. The MUY-GS Air Conditioner cools one area only. It has a special Blue Fin coating to protect its parts and make them last longer.

- INVERTER-driven compressor: An inverter-driven compressor generates the precise capacity needed to maintain a temperature set point.
- Powered by Outdoor Unit: The outdoor unit powers the indoor unit, and should a power outage occur, the system is automatically restarted when power returns
MSY-GX12NL Overview
The Mitsubishi MSY-GX12NL is a wall-mounted air handler that cools your home or small business efficiently. It has a special filter to clean the air, runs quietly, and uses smart technology to save energy.

- Dual Barrier Coating: The patented Dual Barrier Coating reduces the collection of contaminants like dust, fibers, smoke, and oil on the inner surface of the heat pump, resulting in optimal airflow and easier maintenance.
- Econo Cool: Econo Cool temporarily and automatically adjusts the airflow based on heat exchanger temperature. The set temperature is increased slightly, which saves energy, while maintaining comfort.
- Multiple control options including: Back-lit screen hand-held Remote Controller (provided with unit), comfort app, third-party interfaces and both wired and wireless controllers
- Multiple fan speed options: Low, Medium, High, Powerful, Auto

Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?

- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing

Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
