One System for Two Seasons
In cooling mode, the matched system moves heat out of your home. In heating mode, it draws heat from outdoor air and transfers it indoors. Supplemental heating requirements depend on local temperatures, the home's heating load, and the selected equipment.

This outdoor unit requires a compatible indoor unit. Your installer should verify equipment compatibility, sizing, ductwork, controls, and electrical requirements. Heating, cooling, and efficiency ratings apply to the complete matched system.

The ACiQ ACIQ-24W-WMB 2-ton wall-mount ducted air handler delivers conditioned air through your home's ductwork when paired with a compatible outdoor unit. Its vertical wall- or stud-mount design offers a space-conscious option for homes, apartments, and multi-tenant properties, while its insulated galvanized-steel cabinet houses an aluminum coil.

Installation Flexibility

Airflow for Everyday Comfort
The constant-airflow design supports air delivery through the connected ducts at external static pressures up to 0.80 in. w.g. Your installer can select the appropriate airflow setting for the matched system and duct layout.
Choose Your Control Setup
Supported options include the 120N(X6) two-way communicating wired controller, the 120N(X6W) wired controller with built-in Wi-Fi, a wireless remote controller, or a compatible third-party 24V thermostat. Available functions depend on the selected control and system configuration; Wi-Fi requires the appropriate controller.
Optional Auxiliary Heat
A compatible electric heat kit up to 10 kW can provide supplemental heating when the application calls for it. Heat-kit selection and electrical requirements must be confirmed for the installation.
Matched-System Performance
This indoor unit can be paired with the ACiQ ACIQ-24-EHPD outdoor heat pump as specified in the manufacturer’s submittal. Heating, cooling, and efficiency ratings apply to the complete matched system. This air handler requires a compatible outdoor unit to provide heat-pump heating and cooling.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
- Hire a licensed HVAC technician in your area
- Use platforms like Angi, Thumbtack, or a local HVAC directory to find reliable professionals
- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
