SEER2 rating helps consumers compare energy efficiency when choosing a new air conditioner. Higher SEER2 ratings mean significant utility savings. The federal minimum is 14 SEER2 with ratings into the 20 SEER2 range. A 20 SEER2 uses half the energy of a 10 seer much like MPG ratings for vehicles.
Best if you already have a self-contained outdoor unit in place now or if you have no place for an indoor unit (air handler/furnace)
If you have a mobile home be sure the equipment is designed specifically for mobile homes or it will NOT work properly

Powerful Packaged Cooling Built for Outdoor Durability
A complete 4-ton air-conditioning system with no separate indoor equipment required.
The Intertherm P95RD-048K is a 4-ton single packaged air conditioner that delivers 46,000 BTU of cooling capacity. With a 13.4 SEER2 rating, it provides dependable cooling for homes whose professional load calculation calls for this equipment size.
Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, combines R-454B refrigerant, a scroll compressor, all-aluminum coils, and a five-speed fixed-torque ECM blower in one outdoor cabinet. Its galvanized-steel construction, protective coil guards, and raised base pan help the unit withstand outdoor conditions. Optional HK1 electric heat is available for applications requiring supplemental warmth.
4-ton nominal capacity: Supplies 46,000 BTU of cooling for a correctly sized home.
13.4 SEER2 performance: Meets current cooling-efficiency standards.
Self-contained construction: Combines cooling and air-moving components in one cabinet.
R-454B refrigerant: Uses modern lower-global-warming-potential refrigerant.
Scroll compressor technology: Supports reliable performance and efficient operation.
ECM indoor blower: Offers five airflow settings for professional configuration.
All-aluminum coils: Promote efficient heat transfer and corrosion resistance.
Weather-resistant cabinet: Includes a protective finish and guards for the outdoor coil.
Optional electric heating: Supports compatible HK1 heater kits selected for the application.
Choose the P95RD-048K when you need substantial packaged cooling capacity without sacrificing indoor space. Professional sizing is essential because an oversized 4-ton unit can reduce comfort and humidity control.
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
Hire a licensed HVAC technician in your area
Use platforms like Angi, Thumbtack, or a local HVAC directory to find reliable professionals
Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
