The AHVE42CP0300 is optimized for R32 refrigerant and incorporates a factory-installed R32 refrigerant sensor designed for the lifespan of the coil. Its all-aluminum evaporator coil provides durable heat-transfer performance for compatible Goodman R32 systems.
Flexible Multi-Position Installation
Horizontal and vertical configuration capabilities provide flexibility when positioning the AHVE42CP0300. The 21-inch-wide SmartFrame™ cabinet maintains a 21-inch depth for easier attic access and incorporates foil-faced insulation and condensate-management features.
Communicating Controls and Helpful Diagnostics
Communicating functionality supports enhanced airflow, humidity, and comfort management when paired with compatible Goodman equipment. Integrated diagnostics include a CFM indicator and recall of the six most recent faults.
Important Electric Heat Compatibility
The AHVE42CP0300 is not compatible with electric heater kits. Supplemental electric heat strips cannot be added to this air handler.

GTST Overview
The Goodman GTST connected thermostat is designed to deliver the ultimate inverter experience when used with the Goodman SD system. Compatible with all Goodman communicating unitary equipment, it can connect to the Goodman Home app via Wi-Fi, allowing control from an iOS or Android phone or tablet. Additionally, the GTST supports voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. For enhanced efficiency and comfort, homeowners can program up to four schedule events each day on a seven-day schedule.

Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?

- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing

Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
