Goodman HKTS Series electric heat kits provide dependable supplemental or primary electric heating when paired with compatible Goodman air handlers. Designed for use in all-electric or dual-fuel HVAC systems, these heat kits deliver consistent, evenly distributed warmth during colder months, making them an ideal solution for homes without access to natural gas or in regions requiring electric backup heat.
Available in a wide range of heating capacities, Goodman HKTS heat kits are engineered for straightforward installation and long-term reliability. Each kit is designed to integrate cleanly into the air handler cabinet, maintaining proper airflow while delivering safe, efficient electric heat. Whether used as auxiliary heat for heat pump systems or as the primary heat source, HKTS kits offer dependable performance and system compatibility.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
