What the warranty covers
The manufacturer warranty on your equipment covers the parts themselves. If a covered component fails during the warranty period, the part is covered by the manufacturer warranty.
What it does not cover
The warranty does not cover labor, meaning the service call and the time a contractor spends installing the replacement part are billed separately. This is standard across the industry for equipment warranties.
