The Intertherm MG2R Series Gas Furnace combines high-efficiency single-stage heating with configuration choices for compatible manufactured and mobile homes. Models are available with front-return or top-return airflow and with or without a coil cabinet, allowing the furnace to match different replacement and central-cooling layouts.

MG2R furnaces provide up to 95% AFUE with nominal input capacities from 45,000 to 72,000 BTU. A multi-speed ECM blower supports compatible heating and cooling airflow requirements, while the direct-vent design allows approved vertical or horizontal two-pipe venting installations.

Two kit sizes are available, but they are not universally interchangeable. Model 904952 uses a 2-inch connection and is listed for compatible MG2R and MG3P furnaces. Model 904953 uses a 3-inch connection and is listed for compatible MG2R, MG2S and MG3P furnaces. Final sizing depends on the furnace model, vent length, number of fittings and installation requirements.

The Intertherm C85DAMX24U-B is a 2-ton, 24,000 BTU uncased indoor evaporator coil designed for compatible manufactured and modular home HVAC systems. Installed with an approved outdoor air conditioner or heat pump and furnace, the coil transfers heat between the refrigerant and indoor air to help cool or heat the home.

For homeowners familiar with the former Revolv product line, Intertherm now carries that manufactured-home HVAC tradition forward. This vertical A-coil uses micro-channel technology and includes a factory-installed thermal expansion valve, commonly called a TXV, to regulate refrigerant flow as operating conditions change.
