The Intertherm P95RD-036K is a 3-ton packaged air conditioner that provides 34,400 BTU of cooling capacity at 13.4 SEER2. By combining the indoor and outdoor cooling components in one cabinet, it offers a space-conscious alternative to a conventional split system.
Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, equips this model with R-454B refrigerant, a scroll compressor, all-aluminum evaporator and condenser coils, and a five-speed fixed-torque ECM blower. Accessible service panels help simplify professional maintenance, while an optional compatible HK1 electric heater kit can provide supplemental heat when needed.
Choose the P95RD-036K for an all-in-one 3-ton cooling solution with modern components and flexible installation options. Professional load calculations and installation are necessary to ensure proper capacity, airflow, electrical service, and duct compatibility.
The Intertherm W3P Series Electric Heat Kits add electric resistance heating to compatible P7R, Q7R, P95, and Q95 packaged HVAC systems. When installed in an approved packaged air conditioner, a W3P kit adds heating capability. In a compatible packaged heat pump, it can provide supplemental warmth during colder weather and emergency heat when properly configured.
Available in 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 kW capacities, the W3P Series allows the heater output to be matched to the equipment and the home's heating requirements. Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, designed these 240-volt, single-phase kits to operate with the packaged unit's blower and controls. Some models include circuit breakers, while others require the appropriate equipment-provided or field-installed circuit protection.
Select the W3P model only after confirming the packaged-unit model, required heating capacity, and breaker configuration. A qualified HVAC or electrical professional should verify equipment compatibility, blower airflow, wiring, circuit protection, and available service-panel capacity before purchase or installation.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
