The Intertherm Q95RD-060K is a 5-ton packaged heat pump built for homes with substantial heating and cooling requirements. It supplies 55,500 BTU of cooling and 58,500 BTU of rated heating capacity with efficiency ratings of 13.4 SEER2 and 6.7 HSPF2.
Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, combines R-454B refrigerant, a scroll compressor, all-aluminum coils, and patented hot-gas defrost in this self-contained system. Its durable outdoor cabinet provides accessible service areas and protective features intended to support long-term operation. Compatible HK1 electric heater kits can be installed for supplemental or emergency heat.
The Q95RD-060K is intended for homes with a professionally verified need for high-capacity packaged heating and cooling. A qualified HVAC contractor should confirm the load calculation, ductwork, electrical service, installation location, and supplemental heater requirements before purchase.
The Intertherm W3P Series Electric Heat Kits add electric resistance heating to compatible P7R, Q7R, P95, and Q95 packaged HVAC systems. When installed in an approved packaged air conditioner, a W3P kit adds heating capability. In a compatible packaged heat pump, it can provide supplemental warmth during colder weather and emergency heat when properly configured.
Available in 5, 8, 10, 15, and 20 kW capacities, the W3P Series allows the heater output to be matched to the equipment and the home's heating requirements. Intertherm, formerly marketed under the Revolv name, designed these 240-volt, single-phase kits to operate with the packaged unit's blower and controls. Some models include circuit breakers, while others require the appropriate equipment-provided or field-installed circuit protection.
Select the W3P model only after confirming the packaged-unit model, required heating capacity, and breaker configuration. A qualified HVAC or electrical professional should verify equipment compatibility, blower airflow, wiring, circuit protection, and available service-panel capacity before purchase or installation.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.
Here’s how it works:
Note:
Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
