Maximum E7 Heating Capacity for Demanding Home Comfort Needs
Powerful 23 kW electric heat provides dependable warmth for properly sized manufactured homes.
The Intertherm E7ED-B023K1 is a nominal 23 kW downflow electric furnace and the highest-capacity model in this E7ED group. Designed for manufactured and modular housing, it provides up to approximately 68,000 BTUs of heating output at 230 volts or 55,000 BTUs at 208 volts.
Intertherm carries forward the manufactured-home HVAC experience that many customers previously recognized under the Revolv name. This furnace includes four durable heating elements and a constant-torque ECM blower with 16 selectable speed settings. Its integrated coil cabinet allows the unit to support an approved indoor coil and compatible air-conditioning or heat-pump system.

The E7ED-B023K1 provides the greatest heating output in this E7ED lineup, but more capacity is not automatically better. A qualified HVAC and electrical professional must confirm the home’s heat loss, electrical-service capacity, wiring, ductwork, indoor coil, and outdoor equipment before this furnace is selected.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.

- Use platforms like Angi, Thumbtack, or a local HVAC directory to find reliable professionals
- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing

Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
