Dependable 17 kW output and configurable airflow help maintain comfortable indoor temperatures.
The Intertherm E7ED-B017K1 is a nominal 17 kW downflow electric furnace created for properly sized manufactured and modular homes. It produces up to approximately 51,000 BTUs of heating output at 230 volts or 42,000 BTUs at 208 volts for reliable comfort during colder conditions.
Intertherm continues the factory-built home heating tradition previously familiar to many customers as Revolv. This furnace uses durable nichrome heating elements and a constant-torque ECM blower with 16 speed settings. Its integrated coil cabinet also allows an approved air-conditioning or heat-pump coil to be included as part of a complete matched system.

The E7ED-B017K1 provides substantial electric heating capacity and flexible system integration for factory-built homes. Correct furnace sizing and confirmation of the home’s electrical service are critical, so the complete installation should be designed and completed by a qualified HVAC professional.
Who installs the AC unit after I purchase it?
ACDirect does not yet provide installation services directly. However, most of our customers successfully arrange installation through local licensed HVAC contractors. These systems are designed for professional installation and typically include the components your installer will need.

- Use platforms like Angi, Thumbtack, or a local HVAC directory to find reliable professionals
- Confirm your installer is experienced with the system type you’re purchasing

Please be aware if you choose to install HVAC equipment yourself and don’t possess proper HVAC licensing, you will void the manufacturer’s factory warranty. If you are capable of a factory-compliant installation yourself, you will need a licensed HVAC contractor to sign off on your work, fully confirming factory-compliant workmanship.
